Shelby Cole

Shelby Cole has been in the Department of Music has been in the Department of Music since 1997 with primary responsibility as administrative assistant to the band directors and recruitment/outreach activities. She has completed a number of staff development courses and continues to pursue additional educational opportunities to further enhance her employment skills. She is an honorary member of The Marching Virginians and of Tau Beta Sigma.

A native of North Carolina, she has lived in Virginia 30+ years and resides in Shawsville, with Penny, a terrier/poodle companion. She serves as treasurer of her church, is past president of the United Methodist Women and spends her spare time with her family, that includes 2 grandchildren, and attending Tech football and basketball games. Her hobbies include gardening, crafting and cooking.
