Lousie Adams, public relations and marketing
Louise Adams came to Virginia Tech in February 2007 and serves as Marketing and Public Relations Manager for the School of the Arts working with both the Department of Theatre Arts and the Department of Music. Prior to joining Virginia Tech, Louise enjoyed a sixteen-year career in marketing and public relations in both the advertising industry and the non-profit performing arts sector. Her performing arts career includes work as Director of Public Relations and Community Outreach with the Richmond Symphony, Marketing and Public Relations Manager for Central and Northern Virginia with Virginia Opera, and Director of Marketing with Ballet Internationale. Louise has also served as Membership Manager for WVPT, the PBS station in Harrisonburg, VA. Prior to her career in the performing arts, she worked in the advertising industry as a media planner and account executive. She holds a B.A. in Economics from Christopher Newport University.
